OK just put srx pipes in my viper Im currently running 158.8 across with 42.5 pilots I have mega heads.

So here is a pic of my plugs, this is just after my first break in. Just changed my rings and pistons also. Woudl rather check the wash but dont have a benda light.

In thwe pic the plug on the right is the clutch side.

to me the 2 right seem rich and the left mag looks perfect. So Im guessing I should drop down to 157.5 on the other 2.

I think I am going to be in trouble... I would have said the one in the middle is good, the one on the left is lean and the one on the right is rich.... I will also follow recommendations closely.

pics of the pipes on that viper. Just curious, never seen it done. But i am lso looking to get the answer to the plugs.

you need to buy a bendalight, buy the one with the black plastic battery cover and the real glass screw in bulb. the ones that use an led dont take the heat well and melt the plastic and get dim.

plugs are more of a long term indicator, i would run it with the 158 till you get a light and dont hold it for long pulls.

what did you end up using for heads?

yep reading new plug is not a really good way to go ... they always look lean in the first road test
