I keep checking the yamaha site for the demo schedule and have not seen anything posted anyone know if they have discontinued the program? looking forward to trying a nytro :letitsnow

Ive been wondering the same thing. They might be. I know they recently gave Johnny Skeptical and Bunny their walking papers. Perhaps they feel that the 4-strokes have gained enough acceptance that they dont need the big marketing push.
Even if they dont have demo rides, all you need to do is find a Yamaha dealer in your area that is close to the trails and ask them if you could test ride a sled. Most dealers will let you do that.
I deal with Heckel's Marine of Eagle River, Wisconsin and theyve told me on more than 1 occasion that I can test ride any sled they have (assuming there is ridable snow conditions).

i would be shocked if they did not have demo rides this year.

I also plan on hitting the demo ride at the Minocqua snow fest on the second weekend of Feb, like it is every year.

if yami would not have their demo fleet there this year, they would be really missing out. Polaris and I think cat have demos there. doo is the only one missing out with demo rides that get booked up for most of the day.

3 years ago, I demo'd an rs warrior and liked it, 2 years ago I could not get onto the yami demos, so I tried the new Iq 600 polaris, and last year I demod the phazer FX , and the attak.

this year, I will try a new nytro.

I looked evrywhere for the yamaha factory demo schedule. no luck.

I did however find the Minocqua Cruiser's website that has the info for "crusierfest 2008" on it, and while it does not say which brands will have demo's, I would be shocked if yami does not show up with the big Blue Rig filled with 4 stroke fun. They have been a fixture for the last several years, and in case people are not aware, yami has a secret (shhh don't tell anyone;)) test facility in the Minocqua area.

Every year I see next years Yami sleds, and prototypes for next year cruising around the trail system.
