Whats the preferred fill hole for the chain case on a 02 sx viper? I feel stupid but this is my first nice sled and I was looking all over the chaincase and couldnt see a dipstick on it. Did I miss the obvious?
Oh, did a search too and couldnt find anything, which leads me to think I must be overthinking this.

its towards the front of the sled, the handle is a thick wire like daman said and it loops around and tucks on the chaincase so it might not be very easy to notice. big black rubber piece on the end of it.
thanks guys... worked great.
one more quick Q...is the only way to drain the chaincase to take the side cover off? Looks like the bellypan is riveted on and theres no drain hole on the cover.
is there a maintenance manual that is available for purchase? I'd like to keep this sled in tip top shape, but im kinda new to snowmobiles so Im not familiar with all the systems and how they interact so a nice manual explaining everything would be nice. I have the owner's manual but its not really in depth.
