My engine needs to be rebuilt. Second time doing it, this engine sucks. Sled is nice and I got a great price on it and its an Xt. IF I got a great deal on an Srx 700 engine, would it bolt up no probs? Looks like it would and the chassis look the same, just not sure about the bulkhead. If I have to change that its not worth it to me. BUT if I could score an srx engine and it would fit with no probs, I might consider it and talk about a sleeper!!!

the motor mounts and such are differnt, its not a direct bolt in as the bulkheads are differnt, youll also be in the problem of fitting the exhaust with the differnt bulkhead, bellypan is narrower. It can be done if you have the time, and fabrication skills, but its not gonna fall into place with out effort.

to put a srx motor in a sx chassis you have to build the front motor mounts and then run some different pipes cause stock rub aftermarket might fit but not sure.... were building a bender for the boss so Ill let you know as we make progress
