Ive been noticing that when i ride a lot of powder of if im riding behind someone the top of my air box ices over and gets covered with snow. Ive even looked at it and it looked like a snow drift. Is this robbing me of power and whats the best way do get rid of this.
get a prefilter from mtn performance.

i do ride in front it just seems like im always catching up with other sleds really fast. Not sure why this is. LOL

Make sure when your hood is closed that your air box is sealed to the hood. If not hardware stores sell sticky back foam tape cheap.
I have the cold air kit, ram air so to speak, when I see that this is an issue I stuff wool socks into the intakes on the outside of the hood & I also run a pre filter-the best damn invention since twist caps on beer...LoL...
