i have a 02 viper and im wondering how much i can raise the bars without extending the cables, also wondering if anyone has ever tryed using an angle riser on a viper to get a more rider forward position and what the thought about it.
I think the highest you can go is 3 inches, correct me if I am wrong viper guys.....

I have a 3.5" ROX riser on mine with some motocross style bars and the cables are not a problem. You could possibly get a little more than that if you have a pivoting riser like to rox or another brand.

There are a number of members on here like myself that are using the Rox pivot riser that can give you a more rider forward position. I think the majority around here will tell you that if you use a pivot riser and rotate your bars forward you can go up to a total of 3" rise with stock bars. You may have to re-route some of the cables or wiring to use up to a 3" riser.
