For those of us in Ontario running yammys, no more goofy looking, green sticker(see my avatar)...Navy blue and Silver!! Should look much better
Once I re-attach my hood, I'll snap a pic, or someone could always "Insert pic here" if they've attached theirs already.
just out of curiosity, what do your tags look in the states, and other provinces for that matter?

South Dakota's tag color changes every year so it's easy for the trail wardens to see who's got an updated tag and who doesn't.

Michigan's are yellow and only $25 !!!! Guess where i'll be riding this year. You certainly pay a hefty price for that pretty permit .As for the color change , i'm sure it's the same everywhere.

South Dakota's are only like $15 I think. We don't have the trail systems you guys do though with the exception of the Black Hills.

You guys were all riding in the wrong parts of Ontario last year. I had TONS of snow here in the Grey/Bruce County area (OFSC District 9)... I think this is the ONLY area in Ontario that had good snow last year lol. But NORMALLY... anything from Parry Sound north is where the real riding is. It's good down here too but a lot more sledder friendly up there for sure. And I agree on the permits... they're finally blue again!

I always used to slide my sticker underneath the headlight, and then use a small amount of scotch tape to tape it up to the headlight. I trimmed it a bit so that the sticker had the same curve as the headlight. When the sled is on, it lights up the trailpass quite nicely! Check it out, you'll never put it elsewhere.

OMFG!
ours in WI are like 30 dollars and last a couple (is it 2 or 3)years. We also have an awesome trail system.
If our trails here in WI were not so nice, I would venture (pun intended) over to the UP of MI trails. I might do that anyway, but I need to buy my MI permit early in the year so i can justify running up there from Tomahawk a few times this winter.
That, and I need to call my buddy in Eagle River and get a date or 2 set up for riding weekends staying at his place.

I haven't rode in Ontario yet, but I get a quebec Trail pass, its around 200-240 as well. Last year was a rip off, I think the groomer was out twice (in my area, around Waltham, Fort-coulonge) But at least the trail pass comes with Liability Insurance, so I don't have to pay for Insurance on the sled. I will likely buy another one this year, esp with the snow already flying, but the biggest reason is the Insurace

well, if liability ins is included at least that makes it a bit more palatable.
If you break it out I spend around 100 for a year for liability and Comp insurance for my XC. I think all 4 sleds with full insurance on the venture and xc, with liability only on the indy5 and the trail all add up to around 350 a year.
but then again, you guys have free healthcare, unlike here in the US
