Who is running them and what do you think?

I think Mrsled and Viper_Dave are running them with the Bergstrom ski saver and shim kit.
I have heard a ton of great things on those carbides. I am going to try a set of his 6 inchers next year.
Do a search on TY 4 Stroke. Alot of great comments about this kit and tripple points

I use them on my SRX they are the best I have found yet. They corner great and wear really good. The best thing about them is they are made 4 miles from my house.

Well i`m putting slydog skis , ski savers , shims and was going to go with standard bergstrom carbides but scott said the triple points would be a much better fit for me. Was just looking for some feedback.

The singles work good also, but I think the triples are better. (imo)

go to
www.bergstromskegs.com.
Get the # and call Scott Bergstrom on a normal work day. He will be more than happy to take your call. Tell him you want his tripple points with the ski saver and shim kit.

Used his products for a long time. Have them on my Powderhounds. Using Scott's recommendations, the sled rails. Call him, answer his questions, buy and install 'em. You won't be disappointed. I am a little firhter away than Team Blue, about 15 miles. Still very convenient for me. Stop in during off season just to chat with him. SUPER guy and a real supporter of our sport.

same here. Installed on my Viper S before last season. Still in good shape after 1000 marginal snow miles.

He's real close and I hear great things, but how are these compared to Stud Boy Shaper bars in the powder? Hard surface? Thanks..

Yamaha 40th, I rode my Attak the first ride with a completely stock setup. Darted like CRAZY!! When we got back to the hotel, I replaced my stock carbides with 8" Triplepoints and placed a 1/4" shim in the rear of both ski bumpers. NO other changes!! Next day I could ride one hande at ANY speed!! If you strictly trail ride, the stock ski's are acceptable with this setup. Decent bite in the corners and straight tracking. If you do ANY offtrail, the stock ski's are WAY to narrow to float the front end. I am currently running Slydog Powderhounds and love them. Steer much lighter than the C@A's on my Viper, with as good flotation. They make a Trail and Race ski as well. Hope I helped in your decision

You'll get a LOT of miles with the Bergstroms. I took mine off my Venture last year with a total of 9,00 miles on them. Yes, they were flat, but all the carbide was still there. Remember, as the center carbide starts to wear, the 2 side carbides will come into play. Don't know about the Shapers, I've never run them. This is always a tough decision for guys who haven't run Bergstroms stuff. Remember, he'll comp you the shims, skisaver and a TY discount. If you speak to him, tell him Viper_Dave sent ya' !! He really knows the setups for different sleds and riding styles. Tell him what you want, he'll have the right answer.

You'll get 3 times the wear out of a Bergstrom as you will get out of anything else. Scott know's his skis, If you call him plan on spending about 1/2 hour talking to him he really wants you to understand how his product works, and is willing to help you out with your problems. He has got all 5 of my sleds going straight and no darting.
