I have a 1998 srx 700 and dont know if the crank has ever been fixed? is there a way to check with my VIN, the reason i ask is this. I have 1998 srx 700, 1" ripsaw track, 144 , 1.075 gold diggers, down the middle, clutching is 8dn-20's 4.5 each hole, www primary spring, red secondary spring, 51/43 helix wrapped at 90 degrees. Compression is 135 across the board. As far as i can tell everything looks good, and I still cant beat a buddies f6 under 1000', I dont get it....AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! HELP ME!!!

you would fel vibration from the crank getting out of phase. what are you're rpm's?
what rpm is the sled running at?
have you ever changed the gearing in the chaincase?
whats your rider weight?
To check to see if the crank has been done give your vin number to your dealer and he can see on the computer. When the cranks were bad they would either vibrate thru the handlebars or be low on rpm, from coming out of phase, thats why i asked what your rpms were.

powervalve issue???? We need more info.
power valves have all been cleaned, none pulled through,and are set right to the manual, peaks out between 8400 and 8500 rpm's, stock gearing, he weighs 190, and i'm 220, he's completely stock, i've tried everything, there must be something missing!!
