i leave tommrow night for the weekend? hows the snow in valinouet? and at la chapelle? where did you guys ride 2?im mostly going for back country riding so i should have good pics. just a tip for your camera ,when your riding take your battery out and keep it somewhere warm on you so when you want to take pics the battery wont be dead. thanks for the pics
Nice pics. Sounds like you had a fun trip.
How is the bay doing with this cold snap? Should be good to go by Friday I'm guessing.
I'll have to come up and race that ported SRX with my old Polaris XLT 600. 500' should be a close race. FYI - I get 350' head start, lol.

92vwgti good tip on the camera. On Friday we started right from the Hoiday Inn in Chicoutimi, The trails were all groomed up to Mt-Valin, It took us 11 hours to drive up their because of snow storms all the way. We got their at 4am in the morning so we all slept in and it was too late to make the trek up to MT-Valin. We rode the sleds i would guess about 3/4 of the way to Mt-Valin then headed back. On Saturday we drove up to Mt-Valin and spent the day. Because of all the mountain sleds and traffic the trails were pretty bumpy by the afternoon so we played on the Ski Hill which i would have to say was the most fun. The trails around Chicoutimi were better because of no traffic.
Yammer the bay is doing awsome last weekend someone flew up the middle and there was a couple more sleds driving on the sides. I haven't went out on it yet myself but i will by the weekend. I have a feeling their will be a radar run plowed on the side by Friday Night. FYI Instead of the Polaris, get that Viper in shape so i can take a crack at that......LOL

Yah, guess I should update my working log. Got the front exchanger out yesterday so it's off to be welded. Hopefully I'll get that back next week, then I can install the new track and put the skid back in. Anyway, it probably going to be another 2 weeks min before it's running again.BenderSRX said:Instead of the Polaris, get that Viper in shape so i can take a crack at that......LOL
You got a radar gun?

No i don't have a radar gun, but the guys around the bay are usally out every weekend with the gun, and the way this year has shaped up so far i think they will plow a track by Friday to run Saturday morning and Sunday. My Son has his snowmobile safety course this Saturday so i'm not sure if i will be able to getv out on Saturday. I talked to his instructor last night and they groomed around Carp and they are suposed to groom into the Bay today, and i was told Calibogie has been groomed and they are riding. I don't think i have ever rode the trails this early in the year before. YAAAAHHHHOOOOOO
