I have to tell you guys thanks for all the info and modifications that I have learned about on this site!!!!!!!!!!!! After going through the skid(BETHEVIPER ) and getting my clutches adjusted (Turk and MRViPER700) and getting new C&A skis from haydays with mounts and carbides from (Rich) and My 12v plug for a my new gps.....My oil info from (Nosboy) and all the others that I have pulled info out of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the threads that are in the tech faq section and everywhere else!!!!!!!!!
I got on my sled last night and went for the first real ride of the season and WOW what a difference my little 600 was......It is a totally a different sled from last year....Everything is better, it is tight in the trails when I get in the powder the front comes up and the skid bites into the powder with that ripsaw (It used to plow like a boat) and I am able to play for the first time since I have owned the sled!!!!!!!!!!!! The suspension is great.....in comparison.....I can take bumps without a messup back and it finaly has some transfer and I am able to use the transfer rod that I have!!!!!!!!!!
I did some launches from 0 to about 80 and the skis come off the ground about 1 inch and the rpm's jump right to 8100 to 8200 and it pulls the hole time holding right there..( I never got into a spot where I could open her up), but I put on about 60 miles and WOW I went to bed last night with a perma smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news! did you do the Viper long travel shock swap? If not it is another mod you can do to that sled that will make a whole new sled once again.
I have the 99 SX 600 - basically the same chassis as yours and after doing many of the same things along with the viper shock upgrade I cannot believe how different it is.
Have fun and hold onto those bars.

Theres always room to go to a 700!!!!!!!LOL If I don't go fourstroke, a 2002 700 will be the next sled in the garage. I am such a small guy, at about 165 pounds in all my gear, that the suspension is pretty impressive setup correctly.........I am going to see how the sled will do against my buddies 40th aniversery vector. That will be the desiding factor on how soon the 700 is in my future!!!! Thanks again guys!!!!
