I know im not supposto jump a srx. But sometimes it happens and when I go in the air for a bit the sled bogs when I land. Not just a little bog. Almost stalls. This is a problem when I land in powder and need to start moving fast.

could be that you completely pack the exhaust outlet upon landing. If the exhaust isnt getting out, it would most likely do this to you. Try an exhaust deflector if you dont have one on there.

This came up in an old issue of either AM snow, or Snowtech. Let me see if I can dig that up. I remember seeing the article just the other day. IIRC it was an srx of the same vintage.

Ill be more specific. It bogs when I am in the air before the landing.

say my nose is really heavy or im trying to get the rpm's up before i hit the ground.

My money is on an electrical rub. My Mtn SRX started dropping a cyl. during steep climbs. Much head scratching trying to figure it out. Finally stumbled on the rub by accident and it was a classic Yamaha harness rub, under the engine. Ended up thinking the angle of the sled during a climb was shifting the harness just enough to cause it to short out. The forces on your sled during a jump may be causing a rub to come into play. Hope this helps you.

Check your float levels. Adjust to slighty lean. Over time jumping or rough trails will bend the float level to the rich side.

nm, this other guy had bogging/ near stalling upon landing.
