I was on my first ride ( 02 Viper ER), Trying all things out. The sled goes in to reverse very easy but had to play with it to get it to go back into forward direction. I have never had this option on a sled before, I read the (LABLE AND IT SAYS TO PUSH DOWN THEN PULL UP). Never had to work on either. Looks like a linkage adjusment? Any info would be appreciated,
Thanks, Blue

Adjust the shaft length of the joint rod assembly. . Tighten or loosen joint rod to achieve specified
length.
Standard: a = 140mm
b = 70mm
It should just pop forward , all I do is push down & pull slightly back & let go, it pops in the forward position...go to the tech section under track & drive...

Thanks Blues, Adjustment made now goes in and out of gear perfect! Next question is the chain tension adjustment same? I always would adjust my other sleds Back off locking nut twist in tensioner until bottom is felt, finger tight and then lock locking nut. Should work the same right? no differance with extra rev gear? Thanks for your help!

Yes, that is the correct way to adjust it.
