well i had bougth a used shroud this summer and guess what i didnt look at it properly and the brackets where it hooks up are not even there (thats why i didnt see it, the guy who sold it to me cut the off flush so it doesent show damage.) I got ripped off big time on that one. Now im going on a trip this sunday i will make new brackets using L shaped metal, and glue it to the shroud, Anybody ever done this before and what tipe of glue/epoxy did you use, sis it hold up? thanks!

honestly, all you can do is rivet them to the hood, all the pressure when you open the hood is right there on the hinges. yes, youll have 4 rivets thru the hood, but if you paint them blue or black they dont stick out too bad, if we had snow to ride in here, that sure wouldnt stop me from riding...lol

thats what i tought, well i have acces to some real nice flush fasteners at work (i work for bombardier aerospace) so once i put toutch up on them they wont really show, i will make a nice countersink before putting them in!
My hinges broke off just recently, I still had the hinges. I used a fibreglass repair kit, its holding fine but I dont know how it will be with all that heat. I will tape over it with heat risitant tape to make sure it doesnt catch on fire or something.
