you need to count the flashes to know what the problem is, its a self repeating diagnostic system.
need more info...at start up or after running it for a bit or after a hard pull???
hey
going out to the garage right know, will post a new message in 5min.

ok... i went out and of course there was no light on at all. we had like six guys with and we all think that it would blink once, and then would go off. then blink again.

its supposed to blink when you first start it up, thats telling you the system is working and operational, its after the itial 2 blink sequence on a viper and 3 blinks on a srx that the codes will emerge if theres a problem somewhere.
Thats the thing, we road it home about 5 miles and it was blinking the whole time. even after we pulled it in the garage for a bit it did it. now its off. i have no idea whats up.

continous blinking is the overheating indicator, were you running it in the garage with no cooling?
no, just when we pulled in from outside. let it sit for about 2 minutes and then shut it down.
we didnt give it any throttle or anything just at idel.
The only thing we did different was that we turned the heated carbs on before we left. but the coolant level is fine.

we can guess all night, I need to know how many flashes after the intial 2 flashes, take it for a ride and count them, post the count and we can solve the issue, until then we are only guessing.

if u have a heated visor wire on ur sled, check the ground....i had a bad ground on this wire cause a blinking yellow warning light
Hey, viperino I think your on to something. I do have a heated visor hookup but never use it. I will check that. I dont know if turning on my heated carbs would've made the light flash?
Thanks for your time,
