Chokes sticking?
I just installed tmx 38's on my 02 srx. The 1 & 2 cylinders don't seem to be firing very well or at all. The plugs are wet. I am wondering if I have those 2 chokes sticking. When the chokes are disengaged you can pull on the cables so I thought they were fine. But you pull the plug caps and it does not seem to really affect performance at all. You pull # 3 and it kills the sled. It has spark on 1 & 2.

well if its that rich then you have toohave one of the follwing or a combo of all? Too high of a float level, too big of a pilot jet or too rich on the air screw. if you can pull the choke cable up out of the adjusters and have a good 1/8 inch slack the plungers should be seating.

These TMX carbs came iff a 2001 YZ 125 motorcross bike. It came with 25 pilots and 460 mains. I went to 40 pilots and 320 mains. I am going back to 25 pilots and giving that a try. I think I put way too rich of a pilot in it.
