All ready to go, I'm leaving from work tomorrow for the UP to visit some family and go riding...but mostly riding lol.

I'm in Appleton... we should definitely get together and ride sometime....UP, Wisconsin...It dont matter.

Over 200 miles this week, I can't believe it for this early!Last sunday night I rode perfectly groomed trails, it was super for dec. 2nd!Talk about an early christmas present, I am sure the local business people are thinking the same thing this weekend.

Well I just got back from da UP... Grandma is doing good lol... I put on about 150 miles this weekend. Out of that 150 only about 50 of them were on the trails ;)! . The other 100 were some super secret back country riding in an area that only my family knows about (cause we own the land) and its staying that way lol. Got to ride in an unbelievable amount of powder for the first weekend of December. In some spots I would say there was 3 feet of unsettled fluff on top of a 6 inch base that was close to rock solid, Its nice to have secret spots that are lined with trees. :letitsnow I only took a few pics from riding the trails but I will get those up tomorrow.

Here are my few pics I promised.

Nice little field to play in. Anyone know where this is?

Heres whats on the other side of the first pic. I got to rip up the whole right side of that hill after I took this pic.

Anyone know what very small town with very large snow banks this is in? (note I'm refering to the banks in town not along the highway shown)

Thats all... stay tuned for more pics from the next trip....I'm going to use this thread throughout the year to post my riding pics.

I have a few miles on the Venture already.

heck at my parent's house in West Bend, they have to have at least 17-20 inches of snow already.

We actually have more snow in SE WI than they do at our cottage in Tomahawk.

No trail riding yet, but that will happen soon. Well, after I get my .912 track, studs, tunnel and Heat X protectors installed.

Oh well, I have off all next week, So provided the guy actually did as he said and shipped my track last Thursday, i can get it studded and installed next week.

Rich came through with the tunnel protectors and studs like he said he would!

Just out of curiosity, how do you get your sled in and out of the truck, besides a snowbank??

Muscles lol... My pops helped me when I left and a friend helped when I was in the UP. I used a snowbank when I loaded it to leave for home though.
