Which manual to buy

Whats the best service manual for my srx 1999. Seems like there is a bunch of different versions? WHat do they go for?

If you're talking about an aftermarket manual versus the Yamaha manual I think you'd be disappointed if you compared and aftermarket to the actual Yamaha manual. The Yamaha manuals are way better than any aftermarket manuals I've ever seen. For the service manual the cheapest I found yours for was $47.50 plus shipping. The Yamaha manual. The part number is LIT-12618-01-95 That's the only one listed...

I also wanted to add. That I lost the cd I already bought at one point so now I going for a more hands on sort of thing. Not to be gross but it also makes for good bathroom reading when u have a physical book you can leave in there. Great was to get closer to the sled.

The page I linked to says SRX700C, the D is probably for later years?

The manual you'll need says 700 and 600 on the cover..

now like a man. for the 00 will cover 01 and 02 with out any DCS info

I downloaded my service manual from a guy in the srx parts section of ebay for 6 or 7 bucks then printed it out. It was for my 98...don't know if he had other years or not, but its the real deal yamaha manual, and I had it in my hot little hands in about an hour. Worked great for me.

ya i bought the srx cd off ebay....took it to work then printed off the 200 and some pages hole punched and put in a binder works excellent a page get greasy or ripped pop in the cd and print that page....super deal lots of info
