Anyone know any little places in Northern Wisc that have a little cabin with a wood fire place, a little quiet Christmas gettaway for the wife and me for a week night? Someone that caters to sledders.

There used to be a place called Payne's Deer Lake Resort in Phillips, Wisconsin. Very quiet and cheap. Haven't been there in years, but they sent me X-mas cards for many years after I stayed there, which I always thought was cool.

My family stayed there when I was a kid (Im only 27, so it wasnt that long ago) and that place is just what you want. Log cabins, fireplace, very quiet and a quick little 2 minute ride down the access road and you are right on the snowmobile trail. Not to mention that there is a small town called "St Germain" that is less than a mile away where you have anything you could want. Gas, groceries, you name it.
Thats where I ride my sled most of the time, so if you want to know how what the best trails usually are in that area, just shoot me a PM and I will help you in any way I can.
