I am looking for pictures of the TPI Valves mounted on a Viper airbox. Debating if I want to add them or do the bender airbox mod or neither.

Jeepthereapy , , I was wondering if youve had any issues with your Viper since installing the benders and i think I remember reading that you did their head mod ? is it running ok or have you had to tweak anything ?

Thanks for the link. I didn't even consider that kind. I was looking at the flat slide ones.

The pipes were easy to put on. I ended up with a Peak Performance head. Glad I did after reading what some have went through with bender. I just came in off the trail with it. I have 170 mains and 55 pilots in it right now. I had hoped it was going to be very rich. Well I am not so sure it was as rich as I expected it would be.

I had heel clickers in it from last year. I put the Bender VTP helix in it this year. I am engaging at about 4900 (grey spring) and topping out about 8200. So I have some work to do there. I am going to try out my new clutch puller and swap the red spring in and add some heel weight. I am going to ride it like that and see how it is. Probably have to pull some tip weight. I think I left the mid empty but will double check.

They sound great! I don't think any louder than the bored can 600 VMax my wife rides. We will need some more snow before I can really hold it open long enough to check my jetting. Plugs were a nice almost chocolate brown. But looked wet and shiny. I was expecting dull black.

they could look like that if its new plug and very rich

My first view of them I thought they looked very rich also. The plugs were rode once and pulled. This would have been the second run on them. I was thinking I would drop in a set of older plugs and see what that does. At least I am no longer afraid that I am going to burn it down. I did however notice that on the needle the plugs dry right up. So I will have to do a little more testing there, but I thought that looked pretty good.

i have a airbox that has some of them valves installed in the top shelf of the airbox and i will trade it to you for the stock one if you pay shipping both ways, or if i can i find a way to cover the old holes you can have just the valves.

redsnake, curious why you want to get rid of them? But yes, I would be interested in a swap. I wouldn't expect shipping on just the airbox cover would be a whole lot. You have a pic? If you want to PM me an address I will check on shipping charges and see if it is cost effective. Also not a great time of year for shipping so I will see if I can score a spare airbox cover and get it shipped out to you so neither of us is out an airbox cover for an extended time.

well i got an extra airbox cover so neither of us will be missing any riding. you can just ship me your when you get the other one. i just got this viper and it had them installed, i dont want em so someone might as well save some pennies and get some use out of em.
pm me your email and i will get some pics first chance i get.
