Been thinking of picking up a new(to me) Yami toy. Im between a used 660 Grizzley and keeping my Viper OR part out my Experted Viper(all payed for) for a New 07 Phazer FX and possibly Turbo/SC after the warranty is up. Just looking for some opinions cause I know in the end its really all up to me. Lets hear it!!!!!!!!

As much as I love snowmobiling I still need something in the off season to ride so therefore keep the Viper and the Grizzly! At the end of the day you have to pick your own battles!

i have a grizz and love it keep 'em both.... whats better than a toy???? 2 toys...lol lol

If I do go with the Griz(which Im leaning towards) Id be one more closer to the never ending list of toys I want. Here my list that Ive been slowly adding to....

00 CR250- fast spring and fall toy
01 SRX- Groom trail/lake sled
02 Viper- Off/rough trail sled

Only Grizz Ive ever ridden was my buddies 00 600cc and we loaded a trailer with an easy 1000+lbs worth of logs which were straped down. We pulled that trailer over some terrain I never thought it would make it through. So the newer engine being 60cc bigger and L/C, I cant even imagine the diff. between the 2 in power/torque. Yamaha really needs to come out with something like the BRP Renagade800 4x4 cause Id be all over that in a second. But I wont by a BRP quad, only brand quads Id ever buy are Yamaha, Kawasaki, and certain Hondas.

Your srx is obsolete there is no such thing as groomed trails in Michigan LOL

I would find a 03 Rx-1 throw your expert under that and turbo that instead of even messing with a phazer

LOL!!!!Somewhat true...Last year with the whole piping/XExperting deal was my fault for being lazy. But last years snow falls werent that great in the lower anyway. And the SRX is new this year, which tommorow Ill diff. be calling you for help on putting my skid back in.LOL Got hung up on working on other stuff today. But dont knock me, Im trying to buy/payoff most of my toys before I get the boot and that time is rapidly awaiting!!!!LOL

i agree with top gunn stay as far away from a phazer as you can, handles like shit and slowwwwww... really didnt like the sled when i rode it i hope the nytro better

also as far as your choice, personally sell viper and get a 2006 Apex RTX, from there there is always the avenue of boost and making it into a rocketship

since i bought my car, i never even use my quad i think im gonna sell it this spring, just doesnt get enough use.

I spend alot of time at my parents cottage(almost every weekend in spring/summer), which I ride my dads 2 A/C 400 4x4's all the time. I actually use the quads more than my CR, plus Im an avid hunter so the Grizz seems more practical and cheaper since Id buy used.

Sell the Viper and buy the Phazer. Once the warranty is up, turbo or s/c it and youd have one heck of a sleeper.
Theyd line up against you thinking its a little 80-hp Phazer, but by the time they heard the "woosh" and realized just what you had under the hood, it would be all over but the cryin'.

I used to ride almost everyday too now that i have my car thats my summer passion besides work if i have time it all goes into detailing that for shows and whatnot so its been a shift

in that case go with the grizzly, uncle has a 2002 i believe and its a great quad

I think you should build the buggy/go cart thing you posted earlier. The Grizzly would be my second choice. I almost said buy a jeep... but I think the Grizzly actually a better choice for what your thinking.

I was on a Phazer over the weekend. Also an Nytro FX. Got off those and back on the Viper for the ride home. I didn't much care for the Phazer. Lot of vibration. Very underpowered. Turbo Phazer would be unique, just not sure I would like it. Maybe different for you. The Nytro FX just stretched my arms and beat my back to submission. I was smiling as I rode my Viper home.

I really do wanna build my buggy but the lack of room in the garage and no MIG welder(as of now) is whats holding the build back.
