Hey just wondering if anyone pulls a sleigh behind their sled like the equinox. I will not be going out sledding this year alot as we just had twin girls. I am thinking for the future and I think it would be a hassle to try and hold one kid on my sled and one on my wifes sled while tring to drive. I am not a big fan of passengers anyways. So I though about adding a hitch to my wifes sled and pulling the kids in one of the equinox sleighs so that we can get on the trails again as a family. Sled is a 94 v-max 600 that would pull it. Just wondering what kind of changes you would need as far as clutching or even gears to get more power and less speed out of the sled? Wife does not drive the sled that fast anyways. Thanks
I pulled one for 3 yrs with my 97 600 XTC. Didn't change a thing in the drive train. Added the hitch and a flat 4 wire connector for the trailer lights and away we went. Kids were good for about a 50 mile round trip. Then they were just as happy playin' on their sleddin hill.
