Ok, I put 3 seperate TMX carbs on my 2002 SRX. I have 35 pilots and 320 mains currently. It was too lean with 25's and seemed really rich with 40's. I am getting spark on all 3 cylinders but it seems like if I yank the 1 and 2 wires off it just barely misses. If I yank # 3 off it kills the motor. Which tells im really only hitting good on cylinder # 3. It revs up fine. But idles like crap! Also the chokes have a 1/8 in of play which Mr Viper says is fine. All 3 cylinders are warm. Any help woud be greatly appreciated.
are the carbs all sync'd? are the slides all exactly the same height at idle?

Ok, that fixed that problem. But I think I may be a bit lean still. Maybe I should go to the 40 pilots again. I now I have 35's in the sled. Don what do you usually put in these for pilots? Also runing with air screws 1 1/2 turn out. I am running K&N's.

I was running 45 pilots with my 38's on my 780 motor with an airbox. I would say you are lean for sure on the bottom.

If I wanted to use my air box which boots would I get? Turning the 33 boots around will not work. The ends of my 38's are too big.
start turning in the air scrww, that will richen it up
