ice build up due to exhaust

Is there anything one can do to prevent the buildup of snow and ice on the trailing arm that is next to the exhaust pipe.I can't stand all that stuff there and when you just store the sled in a shed with no heat,that ice just stays there.

Just leave it, it will fall off.
