I have a 2000 MtnMAx with 7300 miles and had my dealer do a compression test- all 3 cylinders were at 130. Good or bad? I can't find anything about it in the shop manual.

With the peak head (22CCs) on my Viper I had 125 across the board @ 4500 miles. I also had a very small amount of leak down. I am now a member in good standing of the re-ring it between 3 and 5 thousand miles club. It doesn't cost much and it doesn't take much if you are at all mechanically inclined. Please correct me but as I recall the only special tool needed was a torque wrench. The hardest part for me (aside from bending over the sled) was draining and disposing of the coolant. Makes a mess....

Sounds really good, but do a bleed down test and get a second test with a different gauge when your bored.
