does anyone know what kind of wattage the handwarmers are on a 2000 srx and 2002 viper? are they like 55 watts? how about a 98 xtc 600? I plan on putting yamaha handwarmers on my 2003 rev 600ho, because the stock ski-doo warmers suck. I think the doo warmers are like 35 watts. I want to know how much bigger the yammi warmers are than the doo warmers, to see if yammi warmers will fix my cold hands.

Well i will tell you my buddy put yammie warmers on his 06 rev and they melted all his wiring!

were they wired in correctly? I wouldn't think that it would cause any kind of issues like your buddy experienced.

Yammi's must pull more power. I'm no expert on grip warmers, but I have had Doo's, and cold hands. Never cold hands on a Yammi. I turn the knob to 1/4 on grip and thumb warmers on my 02 Viper, and no problems all season no matter how cold. My 95 VMAX was same. Froze my hands real good on WaWa to Hornpayne trip on a brand new 02 Doo MXZ 600 with the grips on high. (It was cold, -20F) My buddies on Yammi's (99 SX600 and 01 SXr 600) had no problem on that trip, and they had low windshields...just my $.02

Moparrules - I really can't say. I admit freely that I am no expert when it comes to electricity, but Yamaha has always had good warmers.
