I pinned it for about 1 mile down a lake and then my srx bogged then I stopped it and i was seized for about 5 min. Got it home and pulled the plug closest to the plug and the metal on the spark plug is pushed against the electrode. The plug wasn't really white or anything. Piston still goes up and down. New rings last year a jan 10 07.

Any ideas of how what might have happen and how much this one is gonna cost me?

Pull the exhaust off it & take a look inside OR do a comp. test...keep us posted...depends on the damage...did you get your carbs cleaned this season...

Im not gonna do to much my self. Ive had nothing but problems with this sled. Im taking it to a guy who does stuff off to side.

I know it has no compression in that cylinder. I can feel it in the rip cord.

And no carb cleaning. I cleaned them last year near end of season. Diddint think there was a need to clean them since it was running awsome. I did almost run it outta gas tho. Maybe I plugged a jet.

Might have leaned her out or a little bit doesn't take much some times, been there best bet it to pop the exhause and take a couple pictures up the ports with a digital camera and see what it looks like. If its all scored up shes off the get rebuilt.
