Can you only use a 98-99 srx stator in 99 srx or can you use anyyear 98-02?

nope.

u put a stator in a 2000 and up and it will burn out.

you can only use a 98-99 stator, the plugs are differnt for the 2000-02 anyways, and they are 300watt instead of 175 watt like yours is.
