2000 srx reed valve boots

just bought sled and today pulled carb rack for clean/adjust.
pto side reed valve was missing most of the red rubber lining
from the inside of the boot other two look fine and the sled runs great
is this any thing to be concerned with or should i replace the
boot.
thanks for any help
