They are both stock...First of all who will win? I heard the Vector will take a Viper off the line. What's a good clutching setup to beat a Vector off the line and on the top end? I'm 220 lbs. Just need some input so when the Viper and the Vector are broke in we can race.

I dunno, I think the Viper takes the Vector off the line and never looks back. The Vector definetly has the advantage of torque, but the Viper is considerably lighter.

Viper and it is not even close, an Apex is closer but still no contest. A well set up RX1 Mtn is really close with its 151" track. I beat a few stock Mtn Vipers with my old RX1, but my current Viper is much faster than my old RX1 (which is history).

maybe so, but your current viper is not close to stock, which is what he is asking about. mtn viper should have it the entire way, but them damn 4 strokes are unpredictable at times.

My Mtn RX1 was faster then an Mtn Vector or a Mtn Apex because of the shorter track and I still only ran neck and neck with stock Mtn Vipers. That is why I say Stock Viper will Kick *** over either one. Those big tracks are great for floating on powder and climbing hills with soft snow, but kill the performance when racing or riding on firm snow IMO.

Your right redsnake3 I'm not close to stock and boy is it fun to suprise people who think they are about to smoke me on my old Blue Yamaha.

Man, i really need to dial my clutch then because my friend with a 06 mtn vector walks away from me. Both 151's. Of course once we get off trail he is left in the dust since he is riding a tank and cant throw it around like he needs to.
