Speedo Key

I am starting a 141 - 151 conversion. My square speedo key is stuck
in the axle. Anyone have any handy removal tricks. I don't mind buying a
new one but I don't look forward to removing any broken pieces

soak with a penetrating product and then maybe a a little heat?

I have also been thinking about cooling stuff to remove parts. Like if you heated the shaft and then cooled the key with like a canister of Co2 blowing on it? I don't know, I'm just letting my mind run.

If it does break there should be plenty of room to push it in...making room for a new key.
