help me decide what to do ive got a 2000 vmax 500 liquid with a front end crash, 179 miles thing looks like its on the showroom floor e-start and reverse, 2up seat with backrest and heated grips needs front of bulkhead have on hand bumper on hand hood is usable with some paint crazing on front what is it worth fixed do you think, and what is a 500 liquid with 179 miles stripped worth no ( carbs no clutch) thanks for your thoughts probably take me same time to fix as pull apart :letitsnow

There was a guy parting one out in Minnesota like you but I don't think he had much luck selling the motor...But you can always make more money if you part the thing out......I'm interested on buying hole or parts if you decide to sell it.....Nick
I will take the skid, track, reverse if you want to sell parts.....

Thanks
Nick

I bought a new Phazer 4 stroke mountain last year, ran great - good little sled. At 1478km suffered a complete engine failure. Dealer advised that the reason was undetermined and the engine was repaired (not replaced) on warantte. 4 pages of parts with a total warantee claim of $4600.00. Anyone with similar issue, the "repaired " machine is now off warantee and I fear starting it as if the engine fails to this extent again its a scrap sled not worth fixing

I bought a new 2008 Nitro, Dropped a cylinder at 43.6 miles at about 10 mph after a good idle warm up. The engine light is on and it is running rough. Dealer has it now and I am awaiting a diagnosis - anyone with similar experience as to what might have caused this

Doesnt look too bad. If its just belly pan, bumper support brackets, bumper etc. its a pretty easy fix. I did it to my MM and it was under 200 to fix with used parts. The hardest part was the hood hinges since they got all mangled and ripped out of the hood at places. Just took some time to bend and re-support the torn hood areas. FIX IT AND RIDE IT AGAIN!

heres what mine looked like after she licked a tree:

it is just the front of the bulkhead, have one on hand and the bumper stuff any body got an idea of what the sled is worth fixed ??? roughly thanks

Fixed in decent shape its probably worth 2k.

If you do part it though, I would buy the seat off of that venture.
