What are all you mechanics using for work lights? I was looking at one of the 60 LED Rechargeable Work light. Are the ones from BAYCO really worth that kind of jingle?

I would love some advise.

All we/i use @ work and home is the pull reel floresent's, take a beating and keeps on ticking........love 'em!!!!!!

i own my own shop the only thing with rechargibles is were you plug the charger in alot of brands are not strong enough to take the abuse we went back to the plug in flourest they do not get hot were 90% of my work is dionostics alot of times iam under dashes they do not get hot

I also use the 13 watt retractable. But my cool light is a flip open led light. It is the size of a cell phone and has 15 leds. Very durable.

the only ones that seem to last for us at work are the bounce lights. we have tried them all and these last the best. i personally have one that is 2 years old that is a little scorched but still works great. the other flourecents we tryed would make 6-8weeks with a guy that looked after it. the led rechargeables we had both self destructed after about a year or the charging plugs broke and we cannot charge them anymore.

"Bounce lights"??? I call trouble lights, "shine-in-your-eyes-lights". Anyone who's used one knows why. I'm really starting to think the head light is the way to go. At least I'm not looking at it! G.

all everyone in our shop uses are rechargable streamlight stingers and strion's. they are spendy but worth every penny. They take LOTS of abuse.

bounce lights are the brand name of the trouble lights we use. when you are doing suspension on transports and trailers a good trouble light is a must.
