I just bought a 00 srx with a 780 kit in it.When i removed the airbox there looked to be coolant in the carb throat.I looked in the oil tank and the oil is green so im thinking maybe it was oil.I pulled the carbs and cleaned them, they looked fine internally. If i had coolant in the carb throat it would be in the bowl too, right?I go to put the carbs back on and i see coolant in the carb boots, maybe i leaked some coolant in there when i pulled the carbs. When i start it up it runs a little rought until it gets warm but when i hit the gas its real responsive. Its not smoking any more than it should when its running,i dont smell antifreeze and the coolant bottle is full, nothing blowing out the exhaust when its running. If i had an internal coolant leak i would know it,right? What are the signs?

Im thinking its a seal between the carb heater line, ya know the one with the dial that runs accross the carbs, there probably is a seal somewhere along that that is leaking.
If its inhaling antifreeze, the plugs will have a clear wet sheen to them, sometimes even a greenish/white dried crusty stuff at the edges of them.

what mr viper said, and if you look at the top of the pistons a cyl burning antifreeze will usually have no carbon on the piston or head ,the steam created washes it up just like new.

Im thinking it was the green injector oil.Im not getting any white smoke, nothing blowing out the exhaust, coolant level is staying the same and pistons are black. The plugs do look a little wet but im only running the sled on the stand and its not getting hot enough.I have to get out and really run it and then check the plugs again.
