so i was trail riding and sprung a coolant leak. light came on so i stopped and we towed it home. after checking things out i found a hose clamp broke on one of the bigger hoses. replaced clamp, refilled with coolant and bled system. pulled on rope only to feel the engine seize. pulled plugs and found they were wet from antifreeze. tugged lighty on rope and coolant shot out of third cylinder. couple of questions: do you think i lost head gaskets when over heated? and how can i remove anti-freeze from motor? any advice would be helpful. also i noticed discoloration on the heads around the plug holes. thanks greg ![Head Bang :o| :o|](https://totallyamaha.net/images/smilies/banghead.gif)

where all the plugs wet, maybe squished oring. (hope head isnt warped) maybe water pump seal failed.
My guess would be to flush with gas, remove heads an dwide it out then wipe down with laquer thinner or gas. I woudl remove cyl's to make sure your crank isnt ful of prestone.
my guess would be on the waterpump seal

Antifreeze in the motor is not a good thing, not matter how long you run it. It dries out all of the bearings, and the water is damn hard on pistons when the motor is running. The question you should be asking yourself is how all of that antifreeze got into your motor. You need to find the root of your problem. When you pulled the engine over and it felt like it seized, it might have just waterlocked because it has so much coolant inside, or you have bigger problems.
If it were me, I would pull the heads off, pull off the cylinders and take a good look at them. If you still are unable to find out where the coolant came from, you're probably going to be looking at the water pump.
