Viper carbs... Looking complicated!

This is such an old thread, but my question is so appropriate, I'm reviving it...sorry! I need to do this to my viper. It's not idling, and I know it's a clogged pilot. When you unhook the coolant and gas lines, will a ton of stuff leak out? I have the sled in the trailer, so trying to not make a huge mess with Antifreeze and gas on the floor. I was always so intimidated with this after looking at them, but from reading this and a bunch of other stuff, it does sound easier than it looks.

I would get the sled out of the trailer before cleaning carbs. but yes, you will leak coolant and fuel.
I always use a bolt or golf Tee and stick in coolant and fuel lines once removed. keeps leaks to a minimum.

Today's lunchtime project - get the sled back in the garage. heater is running. ho hum. Thought I was done. lol.

Golf tees - great idea! Thanks.

I got some help in another thread and posted results there but I got it done and it is running like a top. Awesome. Thanks for the help!
