In the middle of changing track and following instructions here. I cant remove the chaincase, do I need to remove entire parking brake assy and is there a trick to it. Does the rotor come with the case?

Sometime the rotor slops to the side and binds on the jackshaft. With your 3rd arm . . . reach up and rock the rotor a bit while you pull on the chaincase. It is kinda of by feel but once you get the hang of it, it should pop right off. Watch the knuckles or wear mechanics gloves.

You did loosen the track first didn't you?

you can also try to pull the case by hand while tapping the end of the shaft with a rubber hammer....tap the top and bottom shafts while putting pressure on the case....sometimes the bearings have a snug fit....
thanks everyone, finally got the case out, after growing an extra arm or two, lol Now the bearing on the speedo side is seized so tight on the shaft it bent my 2 jaw puller and still wont come off. Time to get a 3 jaw! Thanks again
