'93 Exciter II 570 front shocks

Hi, new guy here! I recently purchased a '93 Exciter II 570. Awesome sled but I have a sagging front right shock unit. Yammies are new to me so will a unit off of a '87 Exciter 570 work? What other years and or models will work?

they show different part #'s but check you dealer. I think they would work BUT I am not sure.

More often it is a greaseless, bound up T.S.S. knee joint not allowing the spring to return the strut back to full extension. Take the joints apart and see if it rebounds. What most don't understand is that after a couple years of Neglect the joints freeze and the front end can no longer absorb bumps.

Went out and checked real quick. Gave each ski a lift. Left one flexed, right one didn't. A little closer check proved the knee to be frozen.
