Sled sat for four days, was -16 C when I went to start it.Now last Sunday when I parked it,I shut it down with the choke open and gave it some throttle to run that way for 5 seconds. Was told this puts extra gas in the cylinders and washes some of the oil off the walls.Tried what another said to do also.Pulled 3 time really slowly with key off. Then turned key and 3 pulls later fired like a charm. That was 6 pulls to start today.Last weekend was like 16 pulls. That seems to be ok for now the starting .AND with wot runs the DCS was not showing up today, even at launches...nothing...I am happy with that for sure.Jetted just right and with premium fuel in tank.Clutches are running cool to the touch also. Will try going from 80 to 70 wrap tonight and will test on the weekend.Again the belt is flush or just a tad above the secondary sheaves. Some say to run the belt 1/8" above sheaves. In the 3 little bolts on the back of the inner sheave I notice I have 2 washers per bolt. Can put 3 if needed to close sheaves up to raise belt the most.Belt is still new from late last season,no fraying going on either.Belt measurement is just like the brand new belts I have here,so belt is basically new yet. Also noticed the belt climbs to about 1/4" from the top of the primary clutch also.I can try and get the belt to ride up more on the secondary, and if there is no belt squeal..that should be ok.This will get me into lower gear then..so to speak.JUST WANT MORE SNOW!!!
