Looking for some advice here. I have a 01 srx that is pretty much stock. It has hauck growlers on it. Anyway from idle to engagement its ok. Once you go from engagement to more in the throttle, it bogs a bit. Just wondering if a fuel screw adjustment will fix this slight bog/hesitation?? Which way on the screws in is leaner I think....I cleaned the carbs so its not a jet issue. thanks for any help. ALso, how much faster is a piped viper than my srx???

you may have a carb issue and will want to check how many turns out the screw is currenty set for. Count the turns when you screw clockwise and then set them for about 1.5 turns out. I would make sure your carbs are spotless and the jets are cleaned properly. Clutching can also cause bogging if the clutches are binding.
A well piped Viper can be faster then a stock SRX and will have about 15hp more then the srx. A Viper all tuned, clutched with proper cooling will smoke a stock srx.
This has been discussed many times and has been proven with some of the racers and tuners on this site.

In on the fuel screws is leaner, out is richer. It doesn't take much, I would try 1/8 turn at most at a time.
If you run it just past engagement for a while and then check plugs, what do they look like?
This could also be a clutching issue.
Piped Viper vs SRX will come down to who is the best clutch tuner, IMO. Look in the tech pages or do a search for Turk or Mrviper set-ups, they'll hook you up

I had the low speed bog and took the screw from 1 1/8 to 1 1/2. Problem solved.
