Are these a worth it add on to my 01 SRX? If so, are there any places online to buy them?

Nothing rides better. Got a pair on mine last year and it is a huge difference over the stock shocks. We put a set of up-dated Viper shocks on my son's SX-R last year too and the Ohlins are much better than these as well. We compared the sleds on a stretchet of 1' to 2' bumps. My SRX was easy to keep control of. The SX-R bounced around more and darted off the trail at the same speeds. Watch the classifieds, they regularly sell used sets in the $300 to $400 range.
You may also want to keep an eye on EBay as shocks come up there too once in a while.
