yes but...
I sold my '96 VMAX XT today and boy am I feeling remorse...I've had this sled for many faithful years. It's hard saying goodbye to an old friend...watched her leave on the back of a trailer this morning and really kinda second guessed my decision to sell her.

They are great sleds but they beat the crap out-of-ya! I've got a 95 V-max and the motor just won't quit! My buddies 06 Rev 800 is 100% stock and lost a piston yesterday with only 2300 miles on it! Paid over $9000.00 for it and it's out of warranty. Sounds like he's gonna go for a four stroker. Did you pick up something else?

Biggest snow storm in 5 years headin your way tomorrow..If you have not already got something else I'm thinking regret will grow as the inches fall..

I have an msrx thankfully...but that VMAX was a real trooper and will be sorely missed...just couldn't justify the gas cost.

know how ya feel...it's like loosing a famly member...
, been there....

I never sell 'em, I just park 'em out back. Now I simply have a junkyard, whereas you have money in your pocket.
Of the sleds I've had/will have, will probably miss my Exciter II SX the most. Was a great little sled with a little history/collectible status, just froze my butt off on it. Perfect trail sled for Ontario trails.

I have often regretted selling my '90 Phazer II. Rock-solid reliable, comfortable, good gas milage and fairly quick for a 500 fan (70-75 mph).
Look at my avitar. I spent all summer 1 winter and another summer building that sled, it wasn't done in the pic. It took me all night and another broken part to decide to trade it. I regretted it until I got about 200 miles on my warrior I traded for. best medicine is to ride. LOL Maxdlx
I felt the same when I sold my 96, but the very next week when I picked up my 00 SXR I was pumped!!!!! Now I love this sled and cannot stop spending money on it.
