Does anyone know if my sled might have a problem. It looks like when it's cold the smoke as not as white and not as dense as when it's warm. The fuel screw is set to 2.5 turns. Please take a look at the video and let me know. Thank you.

never seen vidio but why do you havr the screws set at 2.5 ?
The sled tended to hang after I release the throttle. It would take about 5-10 seconds for it to rev down to idle. Also the sled started to leave some substance "while running" This substance is pretty liquid and gray in color, it comes out of the exhoust pipes and collects underneath the sled. Does anyone have any ideas.

well looking at smoke doesnt tell anyone anything, know you mean well but theres no information there to be had. If the sled was drinking antifreeze it will show on the plugs and piston tops, will clean off any and all carbon, it will have a sweet smell to the exhaust. If your leaking something its gonna show up on the plugs and pistons if its going inside the engine.
have you had the sled up to operating temp yet after you rebuilt it?

Yes I ran the sled for about 30 miles after the rebuild. But I don't recall having these puddles at the start. It seems like this started happening after I readjusted the screw and got the valves working properly. The spark plugs are looking pretty consistent with the way they were before. Actually now as I think of it one of the previous posts that I was asking why one of the spark plugs (cylinder 3) was looking darker than the others. Now the spark plug from cylinder 3 looks pretty consistent with the other two (it seems like it became brighter). The sparks don't smell like antifreeze.

How long has the fuel been sitting in the tank?
The reason why I ask is old fuel does not burn completly. It will smoke quite a bit. It will also cause the unburned goo to drip from the exhaust. It also smells funny. Can cause spark plugs to foul

The gas is new. I think that the screw is just to far out, after riding today I noticed that the exhaust pispes are CLEAN??. Tomorrow I will start the sled cold and see if it will start leaking the grey fluid out of exhaust. I was trying to tune this sled in for a day or two playing around with faulty servo for PV and readjusting the fuel screw. This gray liquid might be traped in the sielencers from previoues adjustments and now it's just getting cleaned out, or it might appear only when the sled is cold. Will let you know tomorrow.

I was going to say, did you run the sled hard before the video? I bet its from all the crap sitting in the pipes and extra fuel. Reset the screws to stock and it should be fine.
Make sure your oil pump is set correctly.

Most of that stuff is probably from when you were trying to diagnose it, go take it for a rip and burn that stuff out of the pipes. Maybe just set the fuel screws at 2, like I said, I usually set them at 2.5 but most of those sleds have clutch kits and require more fuel down low. At least everything is working now.
