I have long traveled the rear of my 2000 srx
should i long travel the fronts?
I have the viper shocks, just need the brackets and then advice whether i need longer radius rods, etc.
I love the handling of the srx and have it balance just right. but my wrists seem to get beat up pretty good trying to keep up with the doo boys in the whoops
for those who have long traveled the front too, do you like it better overall.
did you need stiffer swaybar, or wider stance, ........
thanks

I to longe traveled my rear and loved it and then sold it to my brother inlaw and he did the front and really liked it' journeyman rode it and was not sure if he like it better or not
If you dont long travel the front, you should atleast get the drop brackets for the stock shocks. This will help keep the the right amount of ski pressure without having to suck up the front limitter strap(which lessens the travel of the front of rear skid)
I installed viper shocks on the front of my 98 SRX and it deffinitly handled the rough off kilter bumps better. You do sacrafice a little of the flat cornering due to the extra hieght.
Good luck, Sno-Xr

I fhave already flipped/rotated the brackets.
been riding this way for 2 seasons and it is setup just right. 2 rotations on the limiter strap and it is out....so dialled in pretty good
I only need the viper brackets ( betheviper?)
and i guess i could try it
is it easy to fabricate a stiffer torsion bar? not sure if I want to spend the money on a new one.
