Hey guys,

I just took a quick peek at my clutches. I dont have a clutch allignment tool, so i didnt remove anything. (I am scared to) LOL. I have never worked on clutches before. Any advise would be great. Anyways. It has a red secondary spring. The helix has 3 8BV50 on it. What does that Mean. A 50 degree helix???

But I coulsnt see anything else in the primary. What and how can i find out whats in them without taking them off? Or do I have to?

ANYONE CLOSE TO ME THAT WANTS TO HELP ME OUT??? OR DO IT FOR ME??????? OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF THEIR HEARTS? I GOT SOME SNOW AND I NEED TO RIDE????????

So turk you told me to get a 52/42 helix (or somehting close), a green secondary. And heel clicker 40/10. But i have read setting up the heel clickers is quick akward. Any yamaha weights to suggest????

Thanks Guys, Nik

Also i check the primary spring. It looked to be a white, white, white. But also looked like al lthe colours had a bit of blue/green smudged in. It was not the clearest. What could it be?

easiest thing to do is take a pic of the spring, and post it, it could be a white, white, white or a green /white/green

Tip or 2nd- 4.3

*how can i check the primary weights?*

If you have paitence you could losen the 6 bolts holding your clutch cover on and let them out about 1". Your bolts will still be in the threads and you can then with a lot of patience remove the weights to check and see what they are. I did my brothers warrior's clutch spring and all with the clutch on the sled. With the yamaha springs you can compress hem enough by and to get all your bolts started. with the heelclicker spring ou need to find a threaded rod that fits into the end of the crank with a nut and a large washer. This will let you compress it enough to get the bolts started.(my 150lb *** could not compress it enough to get it started on my viper)
