I took my belt off to replace it and noticed that the secondary clutch can slide back and forth on the shaft it is mounted on by about 1 mm. Is that normal?

Mine does move a little on the shaft which i do think is normal to a point.

Thanks, I'm chasing a clicking sound so I was paranoid.
Yes this is correct. Keep the shaft lubed with light coat of grease or "never sieze".

yup there is suppose to be a certain amount play in it..
