something around 180 on the mains, god I had a 99 I should remember. Call a dealer and they can find it out by the VIN. I wonder what is wrong with it.....I put 2k on mine without any problems but normal maintenance!!!! Man that thing was easy to work on, I miss that.

Try HCS forum (Hard Core Sledder) lots of Polaris guys on there. Pockets is one that will probably jump in first. Might even find the info just searching on there. Tons of Polaris Info.

no its not power valved.
the 700 did not get those until like 02.
if the 00 700 xcsp was powervalved, I would have bought that instead of my 00 xc600sp, with powervalves.
and yeah, they are easy to work on, although I have not had to fix anything on mine in 7 years.
the 700 is a little worse on gas than the small block ves 600 like mine, but they do pretty well.
I have a buddy with an 01 edge 700 non VES, and he uses a bit more gas than I do, but not a lot more, and certainly not the 8mpg he got with his zr600
