Getting my SRX ready for a trip up north this coming Thursday and noticed the front shocks are very firm. The droop is about 1.5" but to get it to compress any more I have to take all 240 lbs of me to the front bumper and then it springs back like a pogo stick. In comparison my 97 XTC the front shocks are much more smooth in their travel. Both sets of shocks were rebuilt 500 miles ago. Do I have a problem with the shocks on my SRX?

Hmmm, they really shouldn't bounce back they should just rebound slowly. If you grab the front bumper and move it up and down is it easy? Mine is very stiff dampening wise.
I don't think it will ruin your trip though. Deal with it after you get back.
