wondering what other provinces and states have for laws to keep 4 wheelers of our trails in new brunswick its a real problem we only ask for the trails for three months you would think they would be happy wiyh the other nine

Atv's are not allowed on Groomed trails in either Ont or Quebec...you can still ride them, just not on any groomed or snowmobile club trail.
they rip up the trails too much, and shouldn't be on them anyways.

you can only ride quads on designated trails in WI, and then so only if it is cold enough.
Once I had a freshly groomed trail that was badly rutted before the groomer came through that it was a bear to ride, totally destroyed by 2 guys on 2wd sport quads that the trails were so ruined that it was almost as bad as before the groomer came through. 2 quads ruined a freshly groomed and infrequently groomed trail. I was so PO'd. and get this they were amazingly fast down the trails. So fast that with the ruts they had made by gassing it everywhere that I really could not keep up with them. it was a twisty narrow trail and there was no place to ride that had not been totally fubared byt he 2 quads. scary huh?
I have had a few quads totally blow their corners and scare the hell out of me while on my sled.
Personally, I think the quads should not be allowed on sled trails at all.

Same can be said about some of the new 4 strokes with 1.5-2" tracks. when I was out riding 2 weekends ago, we met up with a crew of 3 guys, 2 on newer 4 strokes, one a skidoo and one Polaris, both really agressive Paddle tracks, well the trail had just been groomed for the first time of the year, so granted it wasn't packed or hard yet, but on every corner these guys gunned it out of every corner and basically went right down to the gravel underneath in quite a few spots.....me and my buddy ride fairly agressive, but our 600 twins don't rip the trails up like that!!!
But I tottally agree, ATV's shouldn't be on Snowmobile trails.....
