My 98 srx 700 over revs with Turks set-up , 8dn20 , 4.5 gram rivets each hole , www primary , grn secondary advant-edge helix. I love the performance and would like to drop rpm's from 8,500 down to 8,300. My question is , would my best way to keep performance like it is , should I try 15mm rollers or am I out to lunch ? Thanks , Dana
secondary , how much twist is in it? 48/40 advantedge helix?

70 degrees and yes on the helix , 48/40
well if you like the way its backshifting and it seems to work good in your riding conditions then you could simply just add 1 gram washer to the rivet on the tip and probally be right on the money rpm wise.
you could also try a red secondary spring and see if it will do what you want, it may not control the shift as well.

I like what I have now , would just like to get the rev's to were they are supposed to be. It seems strange that it over turns considering I weigh 225lbs before gear. All my riding with this sled is on groomed trails and lakes , use my polaris for off trail. Problem is the srx is so much fun , haven't even had my xcsp600 out since the new topend !

8500 isn't bad at all on a long pull with the srx, even the '98s as long as you are pulling 8200-8300 out of the whole. 8500 is fine on top end. But yes if you are insisting on getting it down on top end do as Mrviper said and add a 1 gram washer with new 4.5g rivets in the outer hole of the weights.

OK So the outer hole is by the pin/bolt on the weights or toward the end/tip???

yes but...
I'm having the same issues...8600rpm going from a 2" track to a 1.25" track (used to be 83-8400rpm). The only problem I'm having is finding a 1gram washer to fit on my 8dn20's without rubbing against the roller (?)

Another option is to find a spring with around the same preload but with a softer rate than the WWW.

yes but...
I'm running a YWY...would a WWW or a BWB bring me down 200rpm?
YWY PL:45 rate:2.5
WWW PL:45 rate:2.25
BWB PL:45 rate:2
My setup: '98srx
YWY, 8DN20 (4.5t/4.5h), 3shims
red secondary w/ 54/44 helix @80
Pulls like a freight train...but revs consistently up to 85-8600rpm.

If i switch from a ywy to www it drops my rpm by 100.
I put a 1 gram washer on the tip of mine and just grided it down till it was flush with the whieght then took a center punch and punched a notch beween the washer and rivet to keep the waser from spinning.

15mm rollers would make it more aggressive and drop your engagement speed and shift rpm some,
